You hate watching our beloved State become more divided and hostile to immigrants, people of color, women, and LGBTQIA+ — especially transgender — Texans.
Although we need people able to protest in the streets, speak with State Legislators at the Capitol in Austin, and lead the fight in their towns, that isn't possible for everyone.
You can also have a profound impact by building community across our differences right in your own neighborhood.
Community is power.
There has never been a more important time to know and be friendly with your neighbors.
Strong community connections are good for our physical and mental wellbeing, and they are also vital for cultural and political influence.
Visibility is power.
When rainbow flags are flying all around you, you can’t help but feel like the culture of your neighborhood is to affirm and celebrate LGBTQIA+ people.
Texas needs that kind of climate change. So if you like even one LGBTQIA+ person, please fly a rainbow flag!
